SGIP in a nutshell

  • Rebates provided through California and Utilities (PG&E) 

  • Must be getting battery

  • Eligibility Requirements​​​

    • Equity: $150/kWh​

      • 50% total open to general population.

      • 50% given to ​High Priority location (fire) OR Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS)

    • Equity Resiliency: $1k/ kWh​

      • High Priority location (fires-check map here) OR Planned Power Shutoffs ​

      • ​Medical needs requiring power OR  income for your area <80% median​

      • 501c3, Schools, Small businesses eligible if you can provide a resiliency center during emergencies

    • ​Battery Equity Program: $1100/kWh AND $3.10/W for Solar​
      • Solar AND Battery​
      • CARE Program or <80% median income
      • Renters (w/5 years occupancy) and 501c3s included

GoGreen in a nutshell

  • Financing backed by CA and Utilities, so lower rates possible

  • No Dealer Fee, Closing Costs, or Lien

  • Up to 30% financing can be used for non-energy upgrades

  • $50k max ($75k if you are getting Solar and Battery)

  • 3.75%-8.12% (as of 10/15/24)​

  • ​Need approval before beginning project

  • Eligibility Requirements​​​

    • 580 Credit Score or higher

    • Good for any energy upgrades including solar and batteries

    • Major Utility (eg PGE, SDGE) 

    • Renters (with Landlord permission), 1-4 Residential until, Manufactured homes on foundation

SCEIP in a nutshell

  • 7.99% interest rate (as of 10/15/24)

  • Tied to Property Taxes

  • Keep money local (used to run SCEIP program, etc.)

  • No money down, pay off anytime

  • Works for roofing, solar, batteries, insulation, etc. 

  • Consumer protections built in

  • Accessible Communication
